Stat rerolling changes the numbers behind a unit role, not the role itself. A damage carry wants stats that help enemies die earlier. A tank wants survival stats. A support wants the stat that keeps its effect active or placed on time. A farm unit wants the stat that supports money timing or uptime. The unit job comes before the reroll button.
Reroll Cubes are the testing tool. They fit units that are promising, already clearing content, or close to becoming part of the main team. They are easier to spend than Perfect Cubes because they fit the stage where the unit is still proving whether it deserves deeper investment. If the unit leaves the lineup after the next banner pull, the cube result loses value with it.
Perfect Cubes are the keeper-unit tool. They fit a unit that already has a role in Story, Raid, Challenge, Infinite, or farming. A permanent carry with a strong trait and gear plan is a better target than a temporary filler with no clear future. The more exact the cube is, the more important the target choice becomes.
The stage result decides the stat. If a boss survives with low health, damage, crit, cooldown, or range-style value matters. If the unit falls too early, HP, defense, or survival value matters. If a support arrives too late, placement timing and team economy matter more than personal damage. A cube that improves a mismatched job can look good in the unit menu and still leave the stage unchanged.
Cubes work best after the unit has enough context. A fresh unit at level one can hide its real value. The clearer path is level, stage placement, role comparison, then stat rerolling. This gives the cube a clear target instead of turning stat rolling into menu guessing.
The stopping point comes when the stat change affects clears. If the unit now kills a wave on time, survives the boss hit, or lets the lineup stabilize earlier, farming or progression can resume. Further rolling belongs later, after the rest of the team has traits, perks, gear, and levels that match the same content.
Exact cube rewards and farming routes can move with updates. Reroll Cubes, Perfect Cubes, and Stat Cubes are active resource terms in Anime Squadron, but current farming efficiency belongs to the live game menu, event rewards, codes, and official announcements. The current route comes before a long farming session.
